County Unemployment Rates for June: Not Much Change
(July 23, 2010) Today, the NC Employment Security Commission released the unemployment rates (not seasonally adjusted) for June 2010. The information for the HCWDB region is as follows:
- Alleghany – 9.9%
- Ashe – 10.9%
- Avery – 8.0%
- Mitchell – 10.4%
- Watauga – 7.5%
- Wilkes – 12.8%
- Yancey – 10.6%
High Country Local Area – 10.3%
North Carolina – 10.1%
United States – 9.6%
