ASU Renews Request for Local Business Owners To Complete a Short Survey
(March 4, 2010) The Center for Entrepreneurship and the Center for Economic Research and Policy Analysis at Appalachian State University are jointly conducting a short survey of businesses in northwestern North Carolina to better inform and assist educational institutions, policy makers, and others in improving existing entrepreneurial activity and creating new ways to help grow businesses throughout the region.
The goal is to reach as many businesses in the following counties as possible: Ashe, Avery, Wilkes, Caldwell, Watauga, Mitchell, Yancey, and Alleghany.
More than 100 businesses have already responded to the survey, but the researchers need many more businesses to respond and would appreciate your help.
The anonymous online survey should take less than ten minutes to complete. It should be completed by one of the owners of the business. The researchers are not collecting any individual names, company names, phone numbers, or email addresses. All individual company information will remain confidential and only summary results will be published.
